He said that it was the best way to get a substantial size in (which is what most people want), and helps to make sure that there is no bleeding. I think I only had one drop. As for peeing, you have to learn how to do that standing so you don't spray all over, but its possible and easy, so don't let that stop you. I presently have a 4g ring and think I will leave it at that. Once its healed, its easy to take out and put back in if the need ever arises.
