beowulf 1 #1 August 21, 2005 Which design do you think looks the best? Or should I come up with better ideas? Any suggestions are welcome.
redramdriver 0 #2 August 21, 2005 I voted for #1. I think if your planning on doing any jumping in warm/warmer/hot/humid type weather the other ideas are just simply gonna suck all the heat right in and make it cool for the rest of us..So, you bring your beer? Its 5 o'clock somewhere POPS #9344
EvilLurker 2 #3 August 21, 2005 I almost voted "they all suck", but it's because they're all gonna be pretty hot, like redram said. I figure you know what colors you want, so I went with #1. Sure you ain't gonna cook in that? Mine's dark (Royal Blue/Black) and it's a sauna, even in Oregon.
beowulf 1 #4 August 22, 2005 Yeah I am sure it will be hot in any one of those. I have an RW suit that is all black with neon green grippers. I think I can deal with it.
wiggy101 0 #5 August 22, 2005 Number 2 is the best by far!! Its more curvy and just flows! The rest are all too angular!! That's my opinion anyway!
Peej 0 #6 August 22, 2005 I like 2 for the way the colours flow, 3 is cool too, it reminds me of a circuit board for some reason. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
daniel_owen_uk 0 #7 August 22, 2005 2 looks like 70s disco suit, 3 looks the best IMO__________________ BOOM Headshot
Joellercoaster 6 #8 August 22, 2005 Disco suit? I'm pretty sure I have a pair of phat pants that pattern (different colours) that I still dance in occasionally. GravityGirl 0 #9 August 22, 2005 #1 - I'm not a fan of the checker board look. In the begining of freefly, Olav had a checker board suit. So EVERY freefly suit was checkerboard. So all the freefliers trying to look like individuals, looked like clones. Of course, by now, I guess we could just call it retro. #2 - This style is a great look. But it is also VERY popular. So it's not exactly unique. #3 - I like it with your color scheme. There are not too many of that style out there. #4 - A little plain. So in my very unprofessional opinion... ..... #3. That is IF you can handle the heat. I find that on the 100+ days, everyone just removes their suit as soon as they land anyway. So buy some really cute boxers to go alone with it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
freelyflyn71 0 #10 August 22, 2005 I like #4...but GravityGirl is right...it needs something else. But I DO like the tapered stripe look...just needs something for the midsection! The Braver the Bird...The Fatter the Cat.
freelyflyn71 0 #11 August 22, 2005 Oh, if your rig harness (front) is other than black, the black front of the suit would probably accentuate the rig and not look as plain as the suit itself. If your harness IS black, maybe bright colors on the reserve handle and mudflap would look sharp. The Braver the Bird...The Fatter the Cat.
beowulf 1 #12 August 23, 2005 My avatar is my rig. I am open to any suggestions for a different color scheme. I am currently planning on ordering it Thurs. or Fri.
bluelip 0 #13 August 23, 2005 I like 1. Something to do w/ the checkerboard look. /* Mike Coles 'bluelip' */
freelyflyn71 0 #14 August 23, 2005 I'm looking for a suit also, and I have a good idea of what I want, color-wise, but I have some issues w/paying over $250 for a jumpsuit! Your colors should match the rig, and they do...you just might want to put thought into those dark colors...as the previous posts said, very hot in the summer! Maybe the torso/back area of the suit could be one of your lighter colors of your rig...the light/lime green perhaps. Just a thought! However those ass/knee slides now and again that we all have, it would be nice to have that darker color to hide the grass stains! The Braver the Bird...The Fatter the Cat. Bandanarama 0 #15 August 25, 2005 Your 2nd image is almost identical to what one of our camera guys wears at our DZ. I thought you might like to visualize it. Just substitute white for lime green. http://www.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=27718651/PictureID=774535020/t_=31430940 Eric ___________________________________________________ One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things. ~ Henry Miller
