It's not far from the truth. It's a threat level.
Your average performer in Circ isn't a threat to your relationship and thus we call it art.
Your average "performer" at say Satin Dolls, is a threat to your relationship and thus we call it smut.

Now I know what you are going to say, "Oh if he is going to walk away from me for some skanky ass ho then so be it." But still....we all want security and stability both in our financial and our love lives.
And a long legged, flat bellied, perky boobied, hyper sexual "performer".......can and will destabilize a relationship that may not be 100% stable. And is thus a threat and as so labled smut.

Now all that aside, you have to admit that these women…..are simply amazing both with respect to looks as well as talent.
I don’t know if I could do even 1% of what they did without killing myself, nor do I know many guys who have that level of flexibility and strength.

Yes and no.
Yes some of the "working" girls are that way.
But the others are some of the nicest, kindest and easiest to pleas women I have ever had the great pleasure of meeting and dating.
And add to it that they don't look bad, have an amazing collection of lacy undergarments, have some very beautiful and open minded friends and usually make good money and life starts looking good.

Actually, in the whole scheme of characheristics that make a person desireable, I'm confident with the notion that an exotic dancer can't hold a candle to me and I think that's probably true for most of the women who post on these forums.

I think you are forgetting this teeny tiny little detail . . . if you go to a Cirque show - an extra 20 doesn't get your lowboy rubbed by a butt crack . . . or your face pressed into a nice valley of cleavage for a tip on the runway.

The cirque athleticism is intruiging, and erotic in some cases, and is intentionally erotic, sometimes, Pole dancing is ALWAYS meant to be erotic.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy both of the venues, but I can separate them for what they are: Two Completely Different Forms of Art.
