VTmotoMike08 0 #8 May 22, 2009 So far my career as a playboy mansion boobie oil applier has not really worked out like I plannedBut seriously, I never was one for lofty and unrealistic goals. Gotta keep find that mix of keeping it real but also being ambitious. No astronaut, pro football player or boobie oiler here. I knew from a pretty young age that I wanted to be an engineer. So far my jobs in engineering consulting have been pretty fulfilling.

mamajumps 0 #15 May 22, 2009 Real young I wanted to own horse farm and train horses... i own horses now, and get asked to train occassionally, so I guess I sort of hit that one. From age 15 on, I wanted to work in Emergency Medicine. Well I am now pursuing a degree in that field and am an EMT....

fasted3 0 #18 May 22, 2009 A diver. There was a show called Sea Hunt that I loved. The idea of going underwater, breathing and swimming around like a fish was so cool. I also dreamed of flying like a bird, but never thought that would be possible. Dreams can come true. But what do I know?

zoobrothertom 5 #23 May 22, 2009 You, fellow dreamer, I believe!I wanted to be a pilot. I was a student pilot so many times but the money got conflicted with "student pilot" vs: "D license holder" on many occasions. Fly all day as a crew chief or QC inspector and then have to pay some yahoo with less stick hours than me to "teach" me to fly. Oh,well. I'm now an A&P with a BS, MBA & JD. Strange! I've been stuck in Korea for over 7 years now. Someone save me cuz paragliding is starting to look good. ____________________________________ I'm back in the USA!! shah269 0 #24 May 22, 2009 I grew up in Iran during the Iran Iraq war. In a strange way I wanted to be a fighter jock. Seeing those F-14's scream across the night sky to intercept the Iraqi Mirages was amazing.....if you don't take into account that the Iraqi planes were dropping 500lb bombs! When I came to the US and visited the NASA facility I thought...wow this would be cool! But turns our I'm a little color blind so no jet jock nor space cadet for me. Then in high school i realized I had a steady hand and I was great at biology....woo hoo! Dr. it is! Fun job hot chicks.....then saw the price tag for med school..... So I became an engineer. But if I were to hit the lotto tomorrow.....I would really like to try my hand at writing Nothing profound nothing amazing....you know those dirty books that all the girls like to read that have Fabio on the cover.Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools!
