Broasted Chicken, has great family signiificance for us.... since she was a kid, my wife and her family spent summers in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, at a place called Old Forge... well there is an ice cream stand, fast food place there,,, called the Pied Piper... and their specialty was.... Broasted Chicken.. !!!spelled just like that...I Never had even heard of such a thing, til we got married, and i started to join in, on the annual trips there....we always joked and laughed,, about "gettin' Us Some of that " BROOOOOAsted chicken... very very good... They no longer advertise or carry that item, and NOW from this thread,,, I'm guessing it's because it's a franchise of some sort.... to which they no longer belong...anyway,, the words are a great source of sentimental reminiscing and we always talk about one day, enjoying it, again....thanks for the link.there's one about 30 miles south of us...jmy Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
