Funny you should mention Germans...Its a Stihl 034 with
a 30"bar and I just sharpened it too..
I have a slightly smaller Stihl and love it. Haven't used it in a while though.
Damn, makes me feel better after slicing my index finger open through the last two bone sections on a jagged piece of metal. I couldn't stop the bleeding for probably 20 minutes. My wife kept begging me to go to the ER but I hate that place. Takes fucking forever to get in and out. Four butterfly bandages, gauze and tape and I kept it close to my chest the rest of the day yesterday.
Maybe I'll post a pic of it, but you've got me beat big time.

Needless to say... it was a hell of a surprise.... I was instantly in shock... but still had presence to do the basic first aid stuff... it was bleeding pretty bad but it was all just venal flow and no arterial spurting. I guess it was a good thing it was bleeding a lot.. cleans out the wound....and triage was a breeze... got right in to get attention...I guess blood all over gets their attention
