lippy 918 #1 April 23, 2009 I've written on here bitching about my job a few times. Since I left the US 3 years ago skydiving is a rare novelty for me, and when I do jump it's kinda depressing how much my skill has gone down and knowing that it'll be forever before I can jump again. I've been looking for a new job but there's a few factors...Mainly that the market is shitty and pickn's are slim. I'd prefer to go to the US but unless I get a transfer with the company, it'd be pretty much impossible to find a company that's willing to sponsor me for a visa. I don't have anything against going back to Canada, except it's TOO FUCKING COLD. Today a work friend called me and said that they're expanding the support division that he manages and I should 'keep an eye out for the job posting and put in your application'. It's super early to get my hopes up, but I've got a smile on my face anywaysOn Monday I'm going up to Canada for some training and I'll be in the same office as my friend's boss (who I used to work for before I left Ft. Worth) and I hope I'll be able to feel out the situation a little better. The thought of working less than 60 hours a week and not spending 70% of my time living in hotels is pretty frick'n sweet! Not to mention having Skydive Dallas as a home DZ again! I'm not sure about a desk job, but I figure sitting still for 8 hours beats running around like crazy for 12 every day. I need some VIBES pleaseI got nuthin
