LisaH 0 #9 April 20, 2009 If somebody I lived with made it "very clear it's MY house," I'd move. What kind of relationship is that?? So she brought some rocks home. If you don't want them for anything, maybe she can create a garden and use them around it. If not, tell your neighbor you don't want them and give them back. If that doesn't work, just haul them away and call it a day.Be yourself! MooOOooOoo

livendive 8 #15 April 20, 2009 It's a pile of river rock, not the end of the world. If you basically "flipped the fuck out", I suspect it was really over something more significant but less obvious than a pile of rocks, and you just used them as an excuse to vent. Then again I could be wrong...maybe you're just a bit more tightly strung than most folks. In any case, I'd ask her if she has any ideas for using them, and if not I'd explain the reason why they need to be moved asap, and ask her to help with that effort. Nataly 38 #20 April 20, 2009 Did you *ask* her why she accepted them?? Maybe the *neighbor* is an asshole & he told her you said you wanted them.. Sounds like maybe he was pushy and she felt uncomfortable & just didn't know what to say.. If I were your girlfriend, living in YOUR house, I certainly wouldn't want to be responsible for getting the neighbor upset.. Sounds like she was in a lose-lose It may be YOUR house, but if you're going to share it's not gentlemanly to keep pointing it out...
