TrophyHusband 0 #1 April 7, 2009 my laptop's battery life has been slowly getting shorter, and now it lasts about 5 minutes. i really don't want to buy a new battery, so is there something i can do to fix the one i've got? it sucks to be tethered to an outlet. shropshire 0 #2 April 7, 2009 You 'may' find that your laptop battery pack is actually comprised a bunch of rechargeable AA cells. If you were brave (and the fact that you pack is almost dead anyway), you could carefully open it up and see... Then replace the cells (will probably be way cheaper than an original replacemnt unit). LaRusic 0 #5 April 7, 2009 QuoteBut it in the fridge for a night. +1 works quite well, batteries tend to hold a charge again after being really cold for a nightThe Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver #
