BMFin 0 #1 September 15, 2005 Hi ! Is it possible to make any changes in your MLF in case you have too tight harness ? My gear is Mirage G4.
PhreeZone 20 #2 September 15, 2005 Yes, depending on exaclty what needs adjusted and how your current harness is built they can either repleace just the MLW or they may need to rebuild the entire harness. It can be done but for a MLW adjustment that is usually at least $100 and upwards of 300-350 for a new harness.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
GravityGirl 0 #3 September 15, 2005 It is much more difficult to make a MLW longer. In fact in most cases, the harness has to be replaced. That is a big expensive job. If you are thinking of buying a use rig with a harness that is too short.... Don't. If you bought a new rig that doesn't fit right, that is a different story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! diablopilot 2 #4 September 16, 2005 Does it have an articulated harness with chest rings? If so it's a very easy job for a good master rigger in a good loft, or the manufacturer. Other wise it gets tougher...---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
Aave 0 #5 September 16, 2005 Hi Ville! You should bring the gear to the rigging loft and talk to either Nipa or Hantta about changing the harness, they have enough experience to tell you exactly what to do. How's the femur healing, ok? /Mörkö Life is smiling, so why wouldn't I? :)
