LuckyMcSwervy 0 #76 March 27, 2009 My weekend plans have gone to hell!!! Weather is going to suck in New Jersey and Delaware. My Plan B (Sebastian) has also been eliminated. I'm not spending a bunch of money to get there (FL) and ground myself because of the winds. Damn it!!! I may make spa appointments for tomorrow. Not sure yet but the prospect of a hot stone massage does sound very nice right about now. This kinda last minute cancellation stuff is so disappointing!!! Always be kinder than you feel. LuckyMcSwervy 0 #81 March 27, 2009 Quote you can't drink all day if you don't start early! Worddddddd(jager)dddddddddd(jager)dddd!! I don't have any "party" plans this weekend at all now. I guess I'll just stay home and be thankful I have a nice house to call my own. I really wish either one of my weekend plans would've panned out. I really wanted to go to a new DZ and I also wanted to get my water training out of the way in FL. Oh well. There's always next weekend. Always be kinder than you feel. skymama 37 #85 March 28, 2009 ...well, I'm not going to be jumping this weekend. It's probably a good thing you didn't buy a ticket to come to FL, it's cloudy and winds are supposed to pick up by noon. Tomorrow is a 70% chance of rain. Guess it's errands and chores for me today. Yippee! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

JohnMitchell 16 #87 March 28, 2009 I called the the ASOS weather at the DZ while I poured my coffee. "visibility 5, rain, mist." I didn't even wait to hear how low the clouds were. Looks like we'll go see the Daffodil Parade in the rain, and I'll work on the laundry room floor, chiseling up the old underlayment. On the bright side, it's prime rib for dinner tonight. Dangerroo and few other jumpers are coming over. Dinner's about 5-ish. Don't knock, just come on it.
LuckyMcSwervy 0 #88 March 28, 2009 I love friends who will just come in without ringing the doorbell. It is taking some training but some of them are coming around quite nicely!! I'm weathered out here. It's weird laying in bed and watching television on a Saturday morning! This is what I used to do before skydiving... weird. I guess I'll get up and shower, food shop, do some laundry, clean the house... maybe I'll even finish painting the stairwell. I may even cook all afternoon... YAY!! I better start a list... yikes!!! Have a great Saturday!! Always be kinder than you feel.
