Sure, or something along those lines, e.g. cylons & humans have evolved in parallel universes, and the earth they just visited is in the cylon version. Or simultaneous to the cylon development and infiltration of human ranks, they've been developing a planet where the two factions can coexist without making the same mistakes as before, or . . . or . . . or . . . Perhaps Starbuck's role of "harbinger of death" is actually to eliminate the two independent factions as they merge into one universal community (though this would be unexpected for her character). PhreeZone 20 #33 January 19, 2009 Since they arrived 2000 years after a nuclear holocaust of Earth and that was 1600 years after the 13th tribe left that leaves a lot of time that is missing. I think the thoughts on the 13th tribe are correct that they were the foundation of the current 12 tribes and the stories are reversed that 2000 years ago they left Earth and founded the colonies. That plays into the whole "This has happened before and will happen again" theme for the Cylons. As for what/who Starbuck is... I'm not willing to place any bets since Katee has said at the end she was not happy since she feels Starbuck never had full closure on her storyline. They are doing a 2 hour "Movie" event to wrap the series up after the final "Episode". I found it was interesting listening to the writers talk on the Webisodes that were just released since they were tearing the sets apart already since the movie had wrapped and had to use the set then watched it get torn down. I guess this movie is to wrap up all the sub story lines like Hera,, Chief's, Starbuck and Gata. I highly suspect it will be like Razor in that it is shown on TV and will be for sale in the stores the next week. I had started to buy the DVD's and then stopped after Season 1 since I'd rather see them in HD and will wait on the Blu-Ray's that are expected in mid 2009. Rumor is a big box set of Seasons 1-4 with Razor and the final movie event in it will be the first shot at getting them on Blu-Ray. Universal got burned on the HD-DVD's. I was really disappointed to see that "Caprica" got green lighted. They should have left the story alone instead of trying to milk any more out of it at this point. Adama in his old Viper for a launch out the tube? Adama arguing with Starbuck in his quarters? Baltar stayed on BSG even though he was on the other side of the line with his followers? CIC has at least 8 models of Cylons in it at one time all with guns shooting at each other? I fail to see how they will tie up all the loose ends but Ron Moore and most the crew said that they thought the story was wrapped up pretty tight between this last episode and "The Plan" TV movie due out this summer. Ron wanted to stamp the last screen with a "The End" to kill the Motion Picture plan that is being floated around right now that basically brings the series back but fractures the story they built by recasting and redeveloping it to be closer to the original series. They are doing a 2.5 hour TV movie that will air in June I think also that is called "The Plan" and it is to be from the Cylon's point of view prior to the opening of the series, it is to fill in more of their religion and what they originally planned to do with the humans.
