Jan 1) because the company I work for offers a better package. or so I thought.... It is March - thank god nothing has happened up to now - last week we discovered that although I've been paying, apparently he's not on the plan.... my husband and I are still struggling with the benefits manager to get him on the damn plan. Ohhhhh, now it reflects his name but only I can get coverage. Of course everyone I'm dealing with is on the East Coast so there goes another freakin day... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sorry, rant over! g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" regulator 0 #2 March 19, 2009 My mom had been using the same insurance company for over 16 years for pretty much everything. A few years ago she was helping my sister move houses and we used our trailer (that hauls a tractor...not a tractor trailor) anyway it has two metal plates at the end of the trailer that the tractor uses to drive up on the trailer and she stepped down on the corner of one of these metal plates and gouged herself pretty badly. She was bleeding all over the place and they took her to the hospital and it took 40 stitches to mend the ripped ankle she had. So she made her first ever claim with the insurance company since originally purchasing the policy many years ago. It came down to like 12 thousand dollars. The insurance company disputed the claim and after a year of fighting finally paid the claim and instantly dropped her policy and she had to go elsewhere to get a new one. Of course my mom has been in insurance for over 25 years and she blew it off but that's shady in my book and I personally loathe insurance companies.
