Did my first stand up landing under a square in my jump this weekend. SivaGanesha 2 #29 March 16, 2009 Quote I forget what a stand up landing is lately. I was actually a bit surprised to find myself on my feet--the flare didn't feel all that much different this time--but I must have started the flare just a bit higher (I was previously flaring too low) or flared a bit more aggressively. Anyways I found myself on my feet :)"It's hard to have fun at 4-way unless your whole team gets down to the ground safely to do it again!"--Northern California Skydiving League re USPA Safety Day, March 8, 2014

But... a weekend without nail breakage is... stellar. Always be kinder than you feel.

Were you guys landing at the DZ or landing off on purpose?? There's no way I would land at my DZs landing area..... way too many video people and cameras around for my liking!! Definitely a preplanned land off with clothes ready.... Always be kinder than you feel.

gearless_chris 1 #43 March 17, 2009 I was going to straighten it out when I got back to my gear pile in the corn field because I needed a break after climbing the muddy mountain, but Donovan was waiting for me. Screw going to a gym, I'll just go mountain climbing at SDC."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.
