Last summer every single jump I did was paid for by packing.

The summer prior to that I started packing. Like you I wasn't to sure of my packing. But some brave experienced jumpers said that there was no better way to learn then practice so they let me pack for them.

Eventually it got to where I could pack an experienced or student rig in just under 5 minutes and a tandem in about 15. Just keep at it and you'll get there. :)

I got my ratings early on, and taught Saturdays to fun jump Sundays...

Then started doing paying demos & teaching while still in college, later came the Tandem rating...now I just sell my children's body parts for medical research in South America.

Move to some place where it's cold in the winter, I started jumping last year and was always broke but then winter came around and not only did I buy a brand new suit, pro-track, wrist alti and helmet but I also saved up 3500$ (and counting) for jump tickets this summer... Winter only sucks when it's winter, when it's over your glad it was there!

I deliver pizzas...it sucks I don't recommend it.

I deliver food too, it totally blows.
I also used to make sandwiches at subway, and that blew worse.
Before that I participated in psychology experiments at my school
and before that I sold plasma

I considered nude modeling for the art school, but never did it.

When I spontaneously hit the road, I like to pick up some Day Labor at places like Labor Ready, Home Depot...etc

Delivering Pizzas is awesome...it's the 2nd funest job I've had...easy 500-600 bucks a week (results may vary) for racing around in your car with the radio blasting....usually cool people too.

If you got some creative skills, freelance media jobs work quite well...tis the season.

Also, in your case...I'm sure you can always find some poor guys ass to kick for a few bones.;)

Telemarketing works too, but that's a job that really sucks...unless you can do it from your lap top computer at home or where ever.

There's also a whole world of opportunity online...even things like affiliate programs can be very lucrative, if not, just a decent amount of extra cash.

Also, buy around 1ooo shares of Ford or GM stock...the choice is yours.;)

Oh yeah....and poker....just be very careful and play conservatively.;)

Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

....and I stocked groceries at the base commissary in 29 Palms. Pay was good but a lot of BS. It was worth it though.

Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

Me too. My nickname became "Johnny Jumpmaster". :P Now with a Tandem and AFF rating I split about 50-50 between fun jumps with Vskydiver and work jumps. Made about $5K last year and didn't take home a dime of it, just kept it on the books. :D Luckily I have a good accountant that amortizes my equipment and deducts my mileage, repacks, license fees and training jumps.B|

A woman would be nice but for $250K a year I really don't care.

I visited a corporate flight department in Alabama once. I walked in and saw a P51, T6, and T28 and said "Wow, does he have a daughter my age?" Ducked under a wing and walked in to a B25 and the most pristine DC3 I've ever seen. "Hell, does he have any sons my age". It is all about priorities:D

I'm in a bit of a tricky place right now.

I have to decide whether or not to stay in Atlanta or go back to Chicago.

With that- I can't start working in GA and then just leave if I decide to go back to IL.

I've been doing pro dom work here in Atlanta. But I miss having a normal job, and a predicable income. Once I decide where I am living, then I will start finding a vanilla job. Until then its just ass kicking until I figure out what I am doing.

Ass kicking? That's all? What about nipple twisting, stilettoing dicks and pissing on people's faces?
