The single most annoying thing about it, aside from TSA hassles are people carrying oversized "carry ons" on the plane that take forever to jam into the overhead. Relax, take a checked bag and a sensibly packed carry on, everyone will be happier, and you'll have enough stuff. I'll start checking luggage as soon as the airline quits sending it to the wrong place, which so far is about every 3 to 4 flights for me. Last time I came to the states (over Christmas) I flew from Tokyo to San Francisco. In San Fran, I had to go through customs. I picked up my checked bag, took it through customs, then checked it again for my 2nd flight down to John Wayne Airport in Orange County. They somehow decided to send my bag back across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii. I got a $25 dollar voucher from the lady... I looked her in the face and asked her, "do you really think I can even get 1 set of clothing to wear with this?" She said, "No but it's all I can do for you." I handed it back to her, told her no thank you, I'd rather bring it up when I get my return flight and went on my way. Granted, they discounted my ticket about $100 for the trouble when I got my next ticket, but I played the role of the stinky kid for 3 days while they tried to unfuck the baggage issue. So...
