happythoughts 0 #9 February 10, 2009 Years ago, I was working on an interstate overpass. We were setting beams on top of the caps. A truck crane pulled in and set a beam. Then, it lowered the boom and backed up to set another one... without lowering the gantry. It pushed the beam off and it flattened a pickup to a height of 4 inches. Plus, it took the back half of the truck-crane off. It seems like all the yelling, screaming, and noise would have signalled an issue, but no. Ya got to pay more attention in some circumstances.
