porpoishead 8 #1 February 12, 2009 I've been in vegas for a week now the scenery is very nice...still got a few things to do in town so I haven't headed over to mesquite yet. was a beautiful day today so I figured I would go to the local DZ's for a jump. only to be told that the only do tandems what a bunch of fucking clowns.......FUCK las vegas DZ's scenery is so nice you figure there would be an up jumper friendly DZ local this is how the 30 second conversation went at skydive las vegas dz staff (lady behind the desk): can we help you me: sure my name is alex im in town from new orleans i jump at gold coast I would like to make a jump with you guys some ignorant asshole(probably one of the TI's): youre a fun jumper dz staff: we only do tandems here so with that said I promptly walk away the stupid fucking TI or what ever is laughing and the lady yells out nobody in vegas flys fun jumpers have fun what a very nice skydiving operation, I should have thrown one of the boulders laying around through their front window... if you want a friend feed any animal Perry Farrell Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NOW.. take a drive up to Mesquite where the decent human beings who skydive in the Las Vegas AREA .. I'm glad you didnt just take our word for it and ignore the other dz's. Now, you'll understand how and why mesquite is great. I spent the last 10 minutes searching for the thread where Brad wedge (dzo of extreme) told us his desire to bring fun jumping back to vegas.
