alexey 6 #1 October 8, 2005 As I found - there are 2 types of binders - where binding tape travels stright (as Para-Gear sales), which can be simple (stationary) and swing away, and, where binding tape turning in binder at 90 deg. Which is easier for use? Is it possible to have "turning type", but swing away (I tired to install and deinstall binder all the time). Where do you buy your? And tricks for their use... Thanks a lot, sorry for bad EnglishLexa
riggerrob 643 #2 October 9, 2005 Light-weight tape folders from Para-Gear are okay for binding thin things (i.e. d-bags), but when I have to bind something thick (i.e. two layers of Cordura plus a plastic stiffener) I use a 90 degree folder from Atlanta Attachments. My AA folder is securely bolted to the right hand side bobbin cover/throat plate and I have to loosen a screw to change bobbins. The problem with swing-away folders is that they are not secure enough to handle all the "muscle" you use when binding thick pieces. Your long-term solution probably involves a spare throat plate that you install when you need a double needle, but not a folder.

Can you inform me their contact address and the name of the item, which I need to order. And, the price - I know that they cost more then P-G, but, how much more...Lexa
