skybytch 273 #1 January 20, 2009 Ben Underwood, a blind teenager who used echolocation to get around, died yesterday at his home. Take a few minutes and read about him and his family on his website. He was an inspirational young man with an absolutely amazing mother. Reading their story makes all those little irritations we deal with daily seem so unimportant. RIP, Ben. hungarianchick 0 #5 January 21, 2009 That breaks my heart. I've seen him on Discovery Channel (I think) and I was blown away both by him and the support he received from his family and community. skittles_of_SDC 0 #8 January 22, 2009 I think I saw him on discovery too. Didn't they have a show where he rode a bike down the street using echolocation?
