I found my sister after 16 years

Hi there everyone;

I wanted to share my personal joy with all of you.

My fathers first marriage ended badly. He left his first wife while she was with child ( my sister ) Due to the death of their son ( my brother) They blamed each other for that and ended up hating each other.

I had found my sister when I was 21. We met and had a good relationship for about 5 years. We had our first sons 3 months apart. The last time we saw each other, our sons were about 2 or 3 years old. She moved, I moved and we lost each other.

I found on the internet some clues to lead me to an address, and I sent a letter saying hey this is who I am and I believe you are my sister I am writing to give you the option to contact me, and it is okay if you dont want to.

Yesterday was her birthday and she received the letter yesterday, and her & her husband called me, and she said I am the best birthday present ever!

Aint nothing else like it. I held my composure on the phone, but after we hung up, I dropped to my knees and thanked God for that blessing. My face hurts from grinning all day today. My heart feels like a bass drum. I called my dad right after, it soooo made his day. you have no idea how sorry that man is for what he did back then. Thank you everybody for sharing this day and this personal moment with me today. I am sooo completly happy and high on life. -Caress
