k_marr08 0 #27 January 10, 2009 If you get the chance, go to 53rd St. and 6th Ave. for some of the most delicious street meat ever created, between the hours of 7:30pm and 4am - you will NOT be disappointed. (look for the long line and the dudes cooking with the yellow shirts on) Order the "Combo" to go, they know what you're talking about. It's $6. Make sure to get some of the special white sauce. HAHA just found this!! http://www.53rdand6th.com/ edited to add: I can't believe this place is on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/53rd_and_6th "I believe the risks I take are justified by the sheer love of the life I lead" - Charles Lindbergh
dgskydive 0 #28 January 10, 2009 Quote Oh yea it (houston) pronounced HOUSE-Ton not Hyou-ston Everyday when I am on the subway. I hear them say House-ton St. It cracks me up everytime. I always think of the folks from Texas and how it must drive them crazy when they hear that.Dom
dgskydive 0 #29 January 10, 2009 I know it is cold and snowing today, but if you like Ice Cream, check out Emack & Bolios. Not sure how many stores they have in NYC, but the one on Amsterdam between 78th and 79th is really good!!!Dom
