The idea is that people are so enamored with you that they actually care what you're doing from moment to moment 24/7/365. Does seem like an ideal way to keep track of your kids though. ntrprnr 0 #21 January 11, 2009 Quote Twitter is Microblogging. It's the ability to update people to whom you matter when you're doing something that matters. It's wonderfully self-policing, in that if you become uninteresting, people can "not" follow you anymore. Best way to describe it is by saying that it's like blogging, but compact, and doable from anywhere. It attempts to answer the question "What are you doing right now." I'm a heavy Twitter user for what I do for a living - my user name is Skydiver - I got it first. :) You can find me at www.twitter.com/skydiver - I've got something like 21,000 followers, which is relatively insane. But in a good way. Hope that helps! PS: It's also in interruptive technology, in that it can come to your cell phone, email, IM, however you prefer to get it, instead of having to go to it, like Facebook or LinkedIn._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
