He asked, she took the ring, PUT IT IN HER GLOVE COMPARTMENT, and drove around with it until she decided to say yes. I think my dad must've been a very patient man! I said sure, and he suggested that I just go over to his place since I was close by. I did, and had barely gotten there when he took me over to the sideboard in his dining room and pulled out a box, which he had made himself.
