skybill 22 #51 December 18, 2008 Hi Than, Changing a tire is a bitch!! (Period!!) I've changed enough!! A couple of trips to help out is #1, the tightness of the lug nuts!! If the shop that put your tires on used an impact wrench, get your lug wrench and see if you can loosen them "BY HAND???" I have a 5 foot piece of pipe that I use as a "Cheater Bar" and I've used it a lot to break the torque. #2 is have and be able to use one of those tire plug kits till ya' get the tire shop permanent fix. I have yet to try one of those cigarette lighter plug in air pumps that's next on the to get list. AggieDave 6 #52 December 18, 2008 Now how many Chevy or Ford guys have changed out a motor on the side of the road? That's a great story!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
BillyVance 34 #53 December 18, 2008 I change my own tires, and fix my own flats. Only times I had a problem was when the lug nut got stuck on the bolt and I couldn't get it off. I keep a can of WD40 in the trunk or glove compartment for any time I need it. The stuck nuts have only happened on my Toyota Tundra truck, twice. Nothing I tried could free it. Eventually I went too far trying to get it loose by jumping up and down on the nut wrench and snapping the fucking bolt off! Those bolts are like $12 each. CMiller 1 #54 December 18, 2008 Quote Quote Do hot women EVER need to change a tire? Believe me, "hot" was never something that I was called until I started hanging out with you guys. Take a woman, say X. X is about a 6. X starts skydiving. X becomes an 8. X then posts on DZ.com about sex and stuff. X becomes a 9. That must have been what's happened to you. gonzalesna 0 #55 December 18, 2008 Quote Quote And for the record, my dad made me change a tire when I was a teenager too. I'd probably have to consult the owner's manual to do it now though. I'd give it a go first. Only if all else failed... Quote hot" was never something that I was called until I started hanging out with you guys. You're insane. Or they (i.e. previous idiots) were intimidated. *Ahem* Need I remind you to refer to skymama as Her Hotness? Some people refrain from beating a dead horse.
