grannyinthesky 0 #3 December 13, 2008 That ad is causing more than you to have problems. I figured out that if I refresh the screen often enough, I eventually get the rest of the page. I think the folks in charge need to pull or fix that ad."safety first... and What the hell..... safety second, Too!!! " ~~jmy POPS #10490
PhreeZone 20 #4 December 13, 2008 I just called J_Ung who is trying to contact either Sangiro or DDT who are the only ones that can fix this issue. We know about it and are trying to get this addressed as fast as possible. If you are using FireFox the Adblocker plugin will make the offending ad go away, IE 7.0 users have the ability to use IE 7.0 Plus that can block ads also. This is not something that Dropzone.com is doing on purpose and as soon as someone that has administrator access to the site can remove it we will have this issue addressed. J_Ung is stuck on the side of a mountain right now (silly rock climbers ) but he wants the entire community to know that he is sorry for any problems or issues that this is causing you and he's working to try and resolve it as fast as he can. skymama 37 #5 December 13, 2008 I have yet to see the Coors Lite ad. Is this something that only users who were logged in last night are getting? I have Super Anti Spyware loaded on my machine, maybe that helped. It's a free program that our Computer guy at work put on our machines. He said they tested that program by loading a lot of different spyware on purpose and it got everything. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

CSpenceFLY 1 #11 December 13, 2008 QuoteAVG (Grisoft) just added dropzone.com to the list of malware-ladden sites. This is where I would usually complain but I have already seen one mod blame this on the users computers so i know the old "if you don't like it here you can go to Rec.skydiving" is coming next. Too bad HH didn't checkout who he was selling to.

j_ung 0 #16 December 13, 2008 There's not a lot I can tell you right now, CSpenceFLY, other than that the buck stops at me. I take full responsibility for everything that happened here today and last night. I may not have caused it, but I failed to stop it quickly.
