squirrel 0 #1 December 2, 2008 I am purchasing a new sail for the wing of my ultralight from the manufacture in South Africa, and the price is in ZAR. If they quoted me ZAR10 350.00 how much in US dollars? (buddy paid about 3000 usd for his from australia) I have found some conversion sites, but the price does on seem right, or more likely, i am just lame. thanks in advance ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? karlm 0 #8 December 2, 2008 The current exchange rate 12/02/08 @ 10:51 EST was ZAR/USD 10.37 www.fin24.com/finance/Default.aspx So take your ZAR10 350.00and divide it by 10.37 gives your the USD price = USD 998.07 Be warned that many SA companies will charge you in USD if your not a local buyer.
