ChileRelleno 0 #1 October 4, 2008 Hi'ya peeps, I'm curious as to how much my fellow jumpers get around. How many DZs have you jumped at? I love the different personality/characterof each DZ, meeting the people, jumping different aircraft & seeing how each deals with common issues to the sport, e.g. separating high performance from standard landings, group separation and etc. 100 DZs was always a personal goal, mission accomplished As is jumping in all 50 states... I know there is a small group who've managed all 50 states, and that is on my life list of accomplishments. I used to drive 18 wheels long haul across the US/Can, needless to say I've been around the block a few times. 600+ jumps 42 States 100+ DZs 36 fixed & 6 rotary wing aircraft. Anyone else got 100 DZs? ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868
BillyVance 34 #2 October 4, 2008 100 DZs in only 600 jumps??? DAAAAAMN!!! Looking at my statistics on the computer, I count 39 DZs jumped at in 13 states out of 24 different fixed wing aircraft, 2 helicopters and a hot air balloon. I have 268 jumps out of Mullins' Super King Air and 169 jumps out of Casas, and 225 jumps out of various C-182s. I have over 100 jumps at three drop zones - 358 at Alabama Skydiving Inc (NOT the Skyride DZ), 140 at West Tennessee Skydiving (Mullin's home DZ), and 104 at Skydive Alabama. I've made less than 20 jumps at 19 different DZs, and 5 or less at 9 different DZs. Specialty aircraft jumped from include: Mr Douglas DC-3 (no longer flying) Super King Air 200 T-tail (no longer flying jumpers) TWA Martin 404 TWA Super Connie Bell 412 Helicopter (of WFFC fame) Alloette Helicopter (John Eddowes' of Cross Keys) Pitts Special Bi-plane And two bomb bay door jumps out of the pink flamingo Porter from the movie "Drop Zone". Also have 77 jumps from the "Point Break" King Air. ChileRelleno 0 #18 October 7, 2008 Sup mano, Hows it hangin? Yeah, we had some schweet sit flying together there at Spaceland, I also had a interesting off-field landing. I had some good jumps there in Utah, magnificent scenery. That 'Wicked Old White Woman' treated me righteously from the moment I climbed outta my truck. So many DZs, so many good acquaintances and a shitload of great memories. That is probably the only thing I miss about not driving 18 wheels, planning my weekends on the next DZ ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868
