Beckert 0 #6 November 23, 2008 My daughter has a ACER lap top that I purchased for her to use at school due to a disability. I bought it new for less than $300.00 at Walmart. She is 13 and not the easiest on things, and we have not had one problem, even with all the extra things we had to put on it.
BIGUN 1,409 #7 November 23, 2008 I kinda rate them with eMachines. As long as you back up often and realize you have a disposable computer, then move ahead in that knowledge.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. jjiimmyyt 0 #11 November 23, 2008 I have an Aspire that I've hacked a 3g modem into and I love it. Nice device which does what I need and I can ssh into my customers anywhere I am. Love it. Even without the hack its a great piece of kit. The MSI Wind looks good to but haven't had a chance to play with one. "This isn't an iron lung, people.
