BlueHaze 0 #1 November 19, 2008 My landlord just offered me a house on the beach in Daytona that he paid $1.3 million for. Not to own but to live in and "watch over it". He spends 2 weeks a year there. I have a corporate job in a big city that I am tired of. Anyone know any good jobs in Daytona? I know Deland is just 30 minutes away. I want to stay away from work at a DZ and be a weekend jumper. Thanks. Blue

pontiacgtp00 0 #3 November 19, 2008 I moved to Daytona back in August, just moved back north 2 weeks ago. I want to go back so bad, I liked it there. Not sure about jobs though, I just worked at the local mall. If you don't have to pay rent....then go! My rent was 800 bucks a month for a small apartment. skymama 37 #5 November 19, 2008 Daytona isn't really redneck, it's more retiree and tourist. Go ahead and move anyway, consider it an adventure! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Keebler 0 #6 November 19, 2008 If you plan on spending most of your time on the beach then go for it other than it sucks here.... Oh and the job market is super shitty here, pretty much non exsistent you can work at the desk of a hotel or at a convient store those are your best options. This is one of those places where you have to know someone, even to make 10 dollars an hour.
