DARK 0 #1 November 12, 2008 ok guys just a little help needed. im doing research for college into the contrasting views of people who do not participate in extreme sports and people who do. I have two surveys done out both with ten questions and neither should take more than 5 minutes to fill out. Id really appreciate if as many people as possile take the time to fill it out as i need at least 50 respondents to each survey. I am focusing on skydiving for convenience for me. The first survey is for people with either NO skydives or just ONE skydive. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=J7FZPY1ihF7ronW96siW_2bA_3d_3d The second survey is for People with more than one skydive. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=AtsXfRrwpn3nTWYByn3qxw_3d_3d Thanks in advance, mark

DARK 0 #7 November 12, 2008 Quote Your question about whether skydivers are normal.... I don't think we qualify for any one of those answers. thats what the box called 'other' is for Quotesomeone please define normal! http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/normal –adjective 1. conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural. :p personally i dont want to be normal but thats beside the point its about finding out about peoples perception of weather you/we are normal or 'abnormal' as you put it so obviously there will be parts of the questions that lean one way or the other edit; thanks for all the responces by the way keep them coming mucho appreciation

I should also point out that I'm not of the opinion that I am "extreme" in any way shape or form... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... MikeJD 0 #20 November 13, 2008 I got stuck on question 3. I don't consider myself a big risk taker in general, but I don't see how any skydiver can call themselves risk averse.

I HAD to check an option even though I had an "other" I chose the closest one but there was no button for "other." people on other sites have had this problem too the software allows me to add in an other box and it allows me to require an answer to the question it dosnt seem to allow me to have the other box as the answer
