To those who went freeflying with pumpkins...

Thank you, your picture has been my desktop background for the past couple weeks. Problem is, Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is on the way and I need a new background pic...

You guys wouldn't mind jumping with a frozen turkey, would you?

Thanks for your help;

I'd like to see the divot a frozen turkey would make... :D

Why does it have to be dead? Could make for an interesting ride to altitude.

You could call Skyride's Clarksville TN DZ, they have experience taking animals up and out in freefall. :o:S

Without a doubt! For those who haven't seen it, the setup is that the well-intentioned but not-too-bright station manager decided to do a Thanksgiving promotional stunt with no input from the staff. He just got one little thing wrong...

Yeah - but the harness they use. . . and what they do to those poor animals is illegal isn't it? At least in most states and almost all countries?

Hmm... give me a few weeks, I might be able to get this done for you. Winds have to be right at the DZ. It certainly sounds like a fun idea. I was going to try and see what the fall rate of a plump pineapple was next, but frozen turkey... why not?

Some hunter is eventually going to be walking through the woods and find a clearing with a smashed pumpkin, and smashed turkey, a decorated christmas tree in splinters, and maybe a crater with an dead easter bunny in it.

I'm sure it is... I just don't know what the laws are. They do have the chicken jump video on youtube. That was when they were at Pell City. :S
