PLFXpert 0 #1 October 21, 2008 I thought some might find this helpful: ProQuo It allows you to very easily opt out of various junk mailers--including catalogs & credit-card offers. But, it also lets you opt in to receive ones you do want that you might not already be receiving. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. TrophyHusband 0 #4 October 21, 2008 the vast majority of our junk mail was credit card and mortgage offers. the levels were reaching several a day. all of these needed to be opened and shredded because they contained personal information. now i don't see that stuff. i guess there is a bright side to the credit crunch. DougH 270 #5 October 21, 2008 My credit card junk mail has fallen by about 80%. I have fair to good credit, so all the scared lenders are leaving me alone now. The only credit card junk I get now is from my existing credit cards companies who are wondering why I stopped using and started paying down all their cards. It will be nice in a year or so to have 0 balance on all of them. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
pyrodude 0 #6 October 21, 2008 I take it you are using this apparently free service yourself. Are you noticing any difference in junk mail delivered at home? Have you noticed any downside to signing up with this service?
