TFFTM 1 #34 October 20, 2008 Not in jail but rode in a police car once. Fairly new jumper ~ 200 jumps. Barefooted beer load. 3 rd out with a big canopy (Should have checked the spot ) no way to make it back to the DZ. Chose my landing area popped the beer, guzzled it and landed in someones back yard. Barefoot, empty beer can in hand in someones back yard knowing that there has to be a law against this. Then a police car pulls up... Luckily she was friends of the DZ and took me back. It was a hoot for everyone; pulling back up to the DZ in the back of the car. I think her turning on the lights was a bit much... Certainly not, Im sure their are some unevenful trips maybe a better title would have been "Stupidest reason, funniest story, blah blah blah about going to jail." Ohh forgot to mention first trip when I was arrested it was me and two of my friends all of us 17 or 18 handcuffed in the back of the car stoned outta our minds singing "Head shoulders knees and toes." with our hands edit: poking out from behind. He swung first, i ducked and returned the favor... and then went home to rail his girl friend.... AGAIN. (you fill in the blanks as to the origin of the "altercation" His mommy called the cops the next day when he came home with a broken face. few hours in the slammer, some comunity service and a fine all was good Next was a good one. Felony speeding to elude, failure to heed for blue lights and sirens, careless and wreckless, speeding in excess of 100mph in a 35 zone, ect.... That's what you get with me + open road + 05 R1 and unfamiliar area and a roadblock followed by a dead end road. sentence with those charges were automatic loss of drivers license for 3 years, and up to 6 months active time. i was dumb. yak yak. Thats why i dont have skooters no more. a good lawyer, around $12,000 dollars, and 24 hours of community service and good behavior some how just made it disappear :D i smarter now :D this was actually the reason i started jumping, needed the rush. Recently spent from around 12:30am until 11am for B.A.S.E. jumping. I was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. I'm still going to court for it.
