anthonyfellows 0 #51 October 15, 2008 Quote I'll get married when I'm older. Because then when I promise to spend the rest of my life with one person, it won't be for *that* long. I feel the same. You're not as likey to get tired of the other person because the longer you wait, the less time you will probably have together :)Serious relationships turn into work after a few weeks and I already got a fucking job :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ H.A.F. = Hard As Fuck ... anthonyfellows 0 #52 October 15, 2008 QuoteQuote Here's why I'm not married ... I'm happier and have more money than ever and it keeps getting better. ? What is it that you are comaparing this to? Happier than what? getting better than what? If you have never been married your claims are pretty much baseless Not comparing to marriage ... I'm comparing to divorce. With divorce statistics these days, we might as well be thinking very deeply about it before making the decision to get married. So ... I'm happier single than I would be if I were going through a divorce and I have more money than I would if I were going through a divorce. What keeps getting better? My life keeps getting better and right now ... there is no need to risk divorce in an attempt to gain happieness from marriage. I've never been married and obviously never been divorced, but that doesn't make my point baseless. You don't necessiarly need the experience to determine the possible consequences.Serious relationships turn into work after a few weeks and I already got a fucking job :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ H.A.F. = Hard As Fuck ... DFWAJG 4 #53 October 16, 2008 Quote Quote I miss being married. I loved having someone to come home to and to call my husband. I was very proud to have been married. Unfortunately, I was the only one in the marriage. I really hope I find a husband again, with this time, the husband really being into me. I'm sure you meet plenty of men where you work that like green jello. I meet plenty of men at work who have brains of green jello.

tbrown 26 #55 October 16, 2008 I've been married to the same woman for 27 years. It hasn't all been skipping through fields of lillies in slow motion, but it's been worth it. We like it and will probably keep each other until one of us dies. I think a lot of people marry for the wrong reasons. But I also think there's a lot of irrational fear of marriage as well. It's what you want to make of it. Your humble servant.....Professor Gravity !
