ChibiKuma 0 #26 September 30, 2008 I have one. He is really cool, but they can be high maintenance. I think the only thing that really cost a lot was the vitamins I put in his mix. He is pretty cool. Likes to tease my cats and bark in the middle of the night. I wouldn't recommend them for kids though. TPM #131 People are just as the stars....there are bright ones and there are those that are dim. freakflyer9999 1 #27 October 2, 2008 My son had one when he worked 2nd shift. Perfect match. The biggest problem is that unless you have their musk glands removed, the males can smell pretty bad. They are pretty messy too and will piss and shit on anything and everything. If you're really interested, check out one of the Sugar Glider rescues. There are plenty of them that someone bought and then decided that it wasn't the pet for them.
LisaM 0 #28 October 2, 2008 When we were looking to get one we were told that unless you were nocturnal with them, you needed to get two. They are very social and would die of lonliness. We got cats instead. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
