Nationally, at their peak inflation adjusted value homes were up 80% over where they've held pretty much steady since WWWII, and 60% over the peaks we hit in the 1970s and 1980s. The first 20-25% of the eventual decline we need does not make for a good time to buy. Moving all our furniture this weekend, and my Grandma is visiting next. But I'll jump at least by the end of the month, at the Hog Flop. Futuredivot...you can pick out the colors for your room if you come over and help paint it. Housewarming party probably in November. I hope it's not too cold so we can party on the huge deck!!!
