Because only non-US citizens are allowed to jump non-TSOed parachutes in the United States. Also consider how much difficulty you will have finding an American rigger to repack it. Sparky (Issit ok if I am only a month late to reply?) -- Put in the order for a Quest two weeks agocompletely honest, the reason I considered a second rig (Quest) at all is that they can get me a cheetah pattern printed directly on cordura, something no other manufacturer has said they could.
