My guess is that in North Dakota actually an uncle of mine has a video that looks similar to that except his was a home made ultralight he made from a converted old old ass hanglider.Skymama's #2 stalker -
SBS 0 #7 September 12, 2008 which one is trying to kill himself? the one in the contraption, or the one running behind the spinning blades? that's pretty cool though. _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...
gonzalesna 0 #8 September 12, 2008 pretty damn good landing...Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

skybill 22 #12 September 13, 2008 Hi sh, Nothing new here. Gyro copters are like,"older than me!!" I saw photos from some old Janes or something of the Germans having one they'd tow behind a sub out at sea to get survalence of the area (this was before RADAR!!) On a more recent note, try the 1950's, Igor Benson developed the Gyro Copter (Powered) and the Gyro Glider (tow version) Back in '57 or '58 I was 12 or 13 and sent off two box tops and $1.98 for the info pak and a nice scale drawing!! Still have it in my archives!! Too cool dude!!SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

My dad even crashed while getting trained in a two seater while being car towed. After that he swore off towing and stuck to power flying his own. I wish I had that bird today.
