squirrel 0 #1 September 9, 2008 Yep. Here in SoCal, if you have an older home, you can apply for a voucher for new water closets, toilets....aka...crappers. Its in the interest of saving water. Just got 2 in the mail...$165 each...not bad. The vouchers can be used for the actual toilet and essentials, like wax ring, plumbing fittings, and seat. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? Have you priced a new toilet lately? $165 isn't going to come close, especially if you want a water saving one that will work. I don't know the brand name, but a friend has one that mixes compressed air with the water and it works pretty good - not cheap though. If you pull the handle up, it gives you a massive flush. It's needed only rarely so it still saves quite a bit of water.
