real1324 0 #1 September 8, 2008 I sat at the table for a very long time enjoying the spoonfull of sweetness I added to my coffee I sat sipping my coffee, enjoying all the pretty things and people around me. I soon realized when I sipped my last sip of coffee that the sweetness was about to end I got up from the table and my legs were numb; I fell to the ground, holding on to the chair so tight that my hands were turning white The pretty people at the table seemed so transparent; they looked at me puzzled and confused. I stood up for awhile and took a deep breath; realizing that the numbness in my legs was fading away. I started to understand the reality of it all; I began to reason and logically think through things in a different way. I realized that my spoonfull of sweetness didn't have to end; instead in was in my heart and mind. So, I smiled at all the pretty people at the table and walked away. Well, I guess my point is; never give up on your beliefs and values; even if that spoonfull of sweetness seems so small at times, and most of all, never give up on yourself.
