How old is too old to wear mini-skirts?

Now I can understand her MOM being too old, the whole no-mini-skirts-after-35 rule

I'm 37, and have been giggling at your posts, Sarah. You are SO young!

Regarding minis, I actually stopped wearing mini-skirts for a casual look when I was in my mid/late-20s because I wanted to appear more professional. (I've always looked younger than my age.) That said, I would still occasionally wear a mini-skirt or mini-dress for a special evening occasion or fun party as long as it looks flattering and/or tasteful. To me, mini-skirts look dated, but pencil skirts (fitted to my knees) look sexy, so I prefer wearing the latter.

Sarah, these "clothing rules" are personal and should not be viewed as rules. I feel that you should wear what makes you feel good.

Oops. No one told me that rule. I've been breaking it for years then!

I feel so naughty. >:(

No she misquoted the rule. it's no-mini-skirts-after-35-unless not wearing panties rule

From what I hear you're still good. :P

stop listening to 16 year olds!

What he said.

Damn straight. Teens and pre-teens just don't want their hot mamas stealing all their thunder, that's all. That said, if they're banned from wearing mini-skirts by their responsible parents, I can see where the jealousy might come from.

If you look good in one, wear it. :)

I really am glad to be in my 40s. More self aware and secure.
Do I wish I had better skin and fewer wrinkles? Sure I do. But I can't change it (without surgery) so I just embrace who I am. Age and maturity has helped a lot with that confidence.

bravo...nicely said...

one of the best things about skydiving , is the fact that sooo many top flight," A plus" Women, share the sport with us .
smart, pretty, brainy, level headed,,fun,,,
Many, able to fly circles around lots " of the boys out there", and often with great senses of humor ..

confidence, maturity, security,,,,B|;):)
mix in a mini-skirt, here and there....????

so never too old...as long as SHE (the woman ) is comfortable ...then more power to her...

They're both frocks:P

a mini-skirt is not the same thing as a kilt... although I suppose they aren't complete different... :$

they may both be "skirts" but I've not seen a mini-kilt... of course I'm not Scottish (despite my first name... and my maternal grandfather having a surname Wright as well...) so I could be wrong... but please if there are mini-kilts... for the love of God... don't post a picture... B|:D

You look great and stop worrying about what other people think or say.:)

If women weren't concerned with what other people were thinking, they wouldn't bother with wearing miniskirts.;)
