He was great, up until the BAD album, and it's been all downhill since, in more ways than one.

What I remember is he was afflicted with that skin pigment disorder, which causes splotches of pale skin. I am just assuming that he preferred to make his entire face match the pigment disorder color.

As if that wasn't bad enough, he had to go and fuck up his nose and lips.

It's actually a very predictable (and almost expected) outcome that happens to so many people who experience overnight exponential growth in wealth. It's why so many celebreties (actors, athletes, and the like) have what we normal people call rags to riches to insane lives. Same thing happens to at least the simple majority of big lottery winners. It's not that they are all stupid (though some are) but more that they do not know how to behave like a rich person. Their first impulse is to go buy lots of toys, which is not a good idea if you want to remain rich.

Mr Jackson's impulse was to try to become a white woman. So maybe his problem goes beyond the shock of suddenly being very rich.
