Question for people outside the USA

Question for people outside the USA: Are you tired of all the USA specific posts in this forum?

Why yes I am, thanks for asking.

As a native Texan, I have to constantly fight a battle to educate others in the US that Texas is its own country. We have conveniently aligned ourselves with the US for trade and travel purposes.

I wish the forums would include more Texas specific topics! ;)

Blue skies,

Jim

Most of my life it has been somewhat fashionable to bash America. A forum like this makes lot’s of people who would never be as confrontational face to face become more aggressive, say Kallend for example. He’s on small, balding, “kick sand in his face sort of guy”. But here he is a ferocious debater able to hold his own with anyone – and kick internet sand in the face of most.

But you’ll never hear much bad from other countrymen about Texas. They were trained by there parents that talking smack about America was fine and fashionable – but never, ever mention Texas because it a well know fact that Texas will destroy your country if you do.

I bet Saddam Hussein wished HE had never criticized Texas. :P

Kevin Keenan is my hero, a double FUP, he does so much with so little
