Squeak 17 #26 July 30, 2008 Quote Quote Quote I dunno.... I haven't jumped in a year... and according to Normis rules I don't think I even count as a skydiver any more. g Well if you are not performing the act of Skydiving your not one But... But... I have a USPA card that says I'm a skydiver g Does the card actually say Gia is a Skydiver? You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! MikeJD 0 #28 July 31, 2008 A skydiver is: a) Just a regular person who happens to enjoy the privilege of jumping from aeroplanes. b) In many cases, someone who cannot be convinced of that.

Amazon 7 #31 July 31, 2008 I know we have beat this subject to death many many times on here. To me.. a skydiver is someone who has skydived.. period. Remember when the people were harrassing Ripple.. and because of that she was hurt. She is a paraplegic who has the gumption to go out and make a tandem skydive.... SHE... is a skydiver. She may never jump again in her life...but she is a skydiver!!!! She has shared the sky with us.... and will remember that all of her life. I accept her with open arms and would give her a big hug if ever we meet.....as my fellow skydiver.

NickDG 23 #34 July 31, 2008 Sometimes I use a parachute to jump from an airplane, sometimes I use a parachute to jump off a building, sometimes I use a parachute to get towed behind a boat, and sometimes I use a parachute to soar off hills in waves of lift. I guess I'm a Parachutist . . . NickD
