Couple weeks back, I was taking a shower and found a lump on the side of my leg just above the knee. I swear it hadn't been there before. After consulting with a fellow jumper that knows about such things, he said to wait a bit and if it didn't reduce, go see the doc. Well, it didn't go down. Went for a consult from my primary care provider who said it was most likely a cyst or fatty deposit. But said it was time to go to a surgeon. They had an opening the next day, so I grabbed it. So Friday the surgeon takes a look and says lets open it up and see what we got. Well, he wasn't sure either, even after looking at it. Looks as though I should hear by Thursday. At least I got some good meds and new scar to add to my collection. So, anyone got any bright ideas on what it is? [Ahnuld voice] It's not a tumah!![/Ahnuld voice] 50 donations so far. Give it a try. It was there a couple of weeks and was really getting 'tender' and kinda changing funky colors from time to time. I'm doing some 'Combat RW' & get a pretty good smack to the knee...limp out the landing 'cause it hurt like Hell. Strip the jumpsuit and look down to see 1/2 dozen creepy crawlies scootin' out of the broken open pink volcano ! Took a few of the lil' critters home to check 'em out...some kind of fish parasite I must have picked up hiking the wilds a month before.
