1969912 0 #1 July 5, 2008 So last weekend I went to the nearby Indian reservation and bought a 2,000 pack of basic firecrackers (Federally legal, but illegal in WA). Found out last week that the local cops were doing a major crackdown on illegal fireworks, and were going to be driving around listening for them and giving $100 tickets. Because I live pretty much on the WSU campus, there are cops all over the place. Bummer. So I took an old set of FRS 2-way radio walkie-talkies and modded one so it would ignite a firecracker fuse when it received a long tone burst from the other one. Set the whole 2,000 pack off at once remotely in a big empty parking lot. Well, almost empty. Guess where the local police hang out to BS? I could hear them laughing afterward, but apparently they couldn't hear me laughing "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
