ACMESkydiver 0 #1 July 2, 2008 14 years ago I married an incredible man. In these past 14 years, we've matured together. We've had triumphs and failures. In our families, we've had marriages, divorces, nieces and nephews, and we've lost some of the same. He has been my best friend, my wise counsel, my porn star, my bread and buttah, Mister Mom, Army Ranger, the rock of his family, and the finest father a person could hope to have. He makes me laugh, tells me to get over it, makes me see the big picture, helps me sort it out, calls me 'gorgeous', and can make me laugh hysterically with just one random phrase. In 14 years, we've never had separate vacations. We've never wanted to. There is no person on this earth I would rather be with; and he says the finest day is waking up to me and spending the rest of it together. I know. Sounds ridiculous. Sounds impossible. I'm just telling it like it is. Joe is the definition of courage under fire; in an age of men and women bailing out, an age of 'it's all about me', of a lack of personal responsibility, this man has not only stood strong and made the lives of his disabled children and extended family better, but he's done it with the heart of a champion and without a hint of burden. Our wedding song was Frank Sinatra's 'Witchcraft'. Our anniversary song has been 'Still the One' -by Orleans. I am a lucky woman. I love you Joe. WOO-HOO!!! 14 years and I can't wait for the next 14. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

ACMESkydiver 0 #17 July 2, 2008 Freefallfro, Marg, dreaming, Tanya, Jewels (I call my best friend’s oldest baby ‘Jewels’ ), Steve, Kris, Dana, Robyn, Jef & Ralfy…sorry I don’t have more time to post individual "thank you"s, but I gotta get to the gym and back before Joe gets home so we can get ready to go to the casino tonight. So - THANK YOU GUYS & GIRLS!![/RED] On our wedding day, Joe's dad (whose birthday is today!) raised a glass and said, "Marriage is difficult at times, as those of us that are married all know. There will be good times and bad, but it can last if you want it bad enough. So here's to hoping that you want it bad enough." I believed him then and I still do now. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

You and I, John and Joe really should get together one of these first days ya know! Happy Anniversary!! We could see y'all tomorrow if you come up to the 'Downs...And thanky Krisanne, Katee & Squeak!! Hee-hee! Funny anniversary incident: 10 minutes ago I'm in the shower. I hear a knock on the door and know it has to be Joe because everyone else is gone except the twins and the two of us. I get out of the shower and open the door a crack and he says, 'Go get back in the shower, I just wanted to know if you were in yet or warming up the water. Get back in! Go!' So of course I say, "NOOOO!! Now I'm wet and naaaaaaked!" Joe starts laughing, and leans around the door a tad more, so that I can now see the telephone against his other ear. "Did ya get that, auntie? Now your sister is wet and naaaaaked." "Oh my God I did NOT need to know that!" from the other end of the phone. I couldn't stop laughing long enough to shut off the water & all my hot water ran out...~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
