RastaRicanAir 0 #1 May 30, 2008 I was just in the Events Forum perusing a thread I posted to earlier -a thread which I incidentally believe was composed by a troll, or at least someone with a bullsh*t agenda, and has no business being in there in the first place- and I noticed that my post, as well as the post of the person I had been replying to were no longer there. The thread was still there, unlocked, unmoved, and containing, at one point, 8 vaguely places-to-jump oriented posts in a row by one person, but at least two other people's posts were now relegated to the ether. Perhaps I should spend more time reading the bi-laws. It is the moderators not so secret mission to upset every member of the site and make them leave the site so we have no more work to do. We honestly love getting all the messages telling us how piss poor of a job we are doing and the threats on us when we take action against someones post. We as a moderation team are trying to compete to see who can get the largest number of people upset with the least amount of work. So far Skymama is in first place but I suspect that will change soon. /Sarcasm On a serious note we can not selectively delete posts and replies with this forum software. If you reply to a post and we end up deleting that root post all the replies under it are moved to the recycle bin at the same exact time. That is just how this software works. It is damn near impossible to send a message to every single person involved in a thread to let them know that because someone else higher up in the thread got their post removed that persons post is removed also.
