jtval 0 #26 May 24, 2008 Quote I'm not 1 to drive drunk......however, I'm sitting here thinking of all the stupid stuff I got away with over the years..and it suddenly hit me... - there were countless tines I drove hungover the following morning. Question is , just how legal is that?... I consider "hung over" to be more or less incompacitated. Dizzy, tired etc. I don't care about legality but it's stupid to drive that way. But I understand am no saint. I did some very stupid driving tricks when I was a kid. I consider myself lucky. My photos My Videos

So much for my knee-board with the coozie attached! ..and once upon a time to drive a car you needed a man with a red flag walking in front of it but what do I know
JoeyRamone 0 #29 May 25, 2008 Do you know that it is illegal to drive tired? It is also illegal to drive under the influence of prescription drugs that cause drowsiness. Never tell an officer that you are tired. Hell yes it is just watched 48 hours they had a kid driving back to school, who was tired, he fell asleep and hit a car head on killing the two people in the car. He got 12 months in prison. It takes one hour for each beer to leave your system i know a lot of people who got a dwi the next morning driving to work. Hell i got pulled over 20 years ago for the same deal. I was drinking until midnight, sleep 6 hours and off to work. Cops took me to the station and had someone come pick me up. Today they would of just gave me a dwi. On top of the the average person, who gets a dui ,has drove drunk 100 time before they got nailed.

It is also illegal to drive under the influence of prescription drugs that cause drowsiness. Never tell an officer that you are tired. I learned my lesson today (luckily, without any consequences!... ) - I am NEVER, EVER driving if I feel remotely tired. I worked-out late the night before last; 3 hours - which is only a little more than my usual. I was dead tired yesterday, but to my surprise I didn't feel 100% today either. Didn't realize I was THIS tired till after I was in the car & on the road for some time - it was like I was there, but not; felt very disoriented and disconnected from myself and reality. That's going on the "things NOT to do" list. Again - lesson learned!...Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of
